PQA Management and Governance

Members of the PQA's Project Delivery Team, Steering Committee and Executive Group.

There are four levels of management and governance in the PQA.

Project Delivery Team

The Project Delivery Team work on the day-to-day tasks of running the PQA: organising calls and funding to awardees, holding events with industry, working with academics before application and post award, forwarding the skills and public engagement goals, and so on. The Delivery Team meet at least once a week. The Team comprises:

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee oversees the delivery of the project, makes spending decisions including approving funding, and works with the Delivery Team at a tactical level. The Steering Committee meets monthly. The Committee comprises the Delivery Team plus the Investigators and Co-Investigators from the University partners:

Executive Group

The Executive Group is responsible for the strategic direction of the PQA, and overall allocation of funding. It is the highest decision-making level in the PQA and meets every four months. The Group comprises the Investigators plus the external project partners:

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides guidance on strategic decision-making and priorities. It meets annually. The Board comprises highly experienced individuals with sector-specific knowledge, including industry representatives, university technology transfer experts, successful entrepreneurs and an EDI champion.
